Our Mission

Get to know us

Have you ever eaten food made from a trailer?  Or been skeptical about the fact it isn't a so-called "legit kitchen"?  Well, you're not the only one.

The MC 1313 Fabulous Five have reached out in Austin to discover the emerging fad that food trucks have to offer.  We want to know why they are so popular, the sanitation regulations they have to offer, and the experiences customers have in trying these different cuisines.  We hope to interview a food truck owner, as well as some local foodies.  (For those of you who may be unfamiliar with the term, Urban Dictionary has described a foodie as "a person that spends a keen amount of attention and energy on knowing the ingredients of food, the proper preparation of food, and finds great enjoyment in top-notch ingredients and exemplary preparation".)

We will be visiting some well-known trailers in Austin, Texas on Friday, Nov. 15 in an effort to broaden our knowledge and palette, and express to our subscribers the plus side of grubbin' grunge.  Feel free to subscribe to our blog and get updates on our stories.

We look forward to seeing what food trucks have to offer, and uncovering the appeal of dinning somewhere a little less champagne-and-caviar.  If you have any advice on where we should go, please comment below.

We can't wait to get our grub on!
